Google: Android's iPhone Defeat

Based on various data released by research firm, Android phone is already beating the iPhone in terms of units sold. This was confirmed by trying to Eric Schmidt, Google'sExecutive Chairman. Schmidt pointed iPhone Android has been uprooted.

"Android is in front of the iPhone at this time," said Schmidt. According to the former CEO of Google, the Android excels in terms of units sold is partly due to cheaper and morevendors are supporting.

"Vendors are encouraged by the number of applications in sales volume. There are so many manufacturers provide Android phones globally. No matter you like Android or not,you will support this platform and maybe even make the application the first time here," he said.

Android operating system is succeeding in the world. According to research firm Gartner,Android's market share around the world have translucent 52.5%. Apple IOS entrenched in the top three, which stood at 15%, behind Symbian.

From the vendor's Android, Samsung became the largest. Gartner highlights his best-selling phone line Galaxy, where the Galaxy S II alone has sold around 10 million units.
